FAQ
Questions worth asking first
If your question is not answered here, ask it on the free call. We would rather say “that is outside our scope” early than take money for work we should not do.
No. Utterly Better offers non-clinical coaching, reflection and practical planning. We do not diagnose, treat or provide healthcare. If therapy or another health service is the appropriate route, we will say so.
Before you pay, we explain who will provide the service, the relevant experience they bring and the limits of that experience. Utterly Better is informed by work across education, people leadership, hospitality, career transition, business planning and formal counselling-skills study. We do not claim protected clinical titles or credentials we do not hold.
Work, learning, money, relationships and habits often affect one another. We use one consistent decision-and-action method across these areas, while referring legal, medical, therapeutic, regulated financial and other specialist matters to appropriately qualified professionals.
We may offer an observation, option, question or practical recommendation, but you retain responsibility for your decisions. Our job is to improve the quality of the thinking and planning—not to take control of your life.
No. Outcomes depend on many factors outside any coach's control. We promise clarity about the process and honest work within scope, not a particular external result.
We identify the practical subject, discuss what you want to change, explain boundaries and decide whether a paid service is likely to be useful. It lasts up to 20 minutes and does not require payment details.
We agree a suitable video or voice-call method in writing. Join from a private, safe location with a stable connection where possible. The launch service does not record sessions.
After the free call and written agreement, we send a PayPal Business invoice or business bank-transfer details. Payment is normally required before the session or billing month. This website never collects card or bank details.
Yes. Plans are rolling monthly with no minimum term. Give at least seven calendar days' notice before the next payment. Your statutory rights and the complete rules are explained on the Cancellations page.
Ongoing plans include the limited accountability messages stated in the plan. We normally reply within two working days on working days. Messages are not continuously monitored and are never an emergency-support channel.
Utterly Better is not equipped to provide immediate protection or crisis care. We will encourage you to contact an appropriate urgent service. If life is at immediate risk in the UK, call 999 or go to A&E. The Urgent Support page lists further options.
No. The launch service is only for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this website.
We handle information carefully and collect as little as reasonably possible, but confidentiality is not absolute. Information may need to be used or disclosed where required by law, to establish or defend legal claims, or in another exceptional situation described in the service agreement and privacy notice. We do not casually share client stories.
Only honestly and transparently. If outside expertise may help, we explain whether we are referring you elsewhere or proposing input from a genuine independent associate. We explain any cost and information-sharing before it happens and seek permission where required.
Tell us as soon as practical so we can understand the concern and try to resolve it. The Complaints page explains how to complain, the information to include and when you can expect a response.
For emergencies and mental-health crises, please see Urgent Support.
